The short version
Loop collects nothing. Everything you enter stays on your phone, and the app has no internet permission, so it cannot send anything anywhere. There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising.
What Loop stores on your phone
- Tasks: name, duration, how often it repeats, priority, colour, and whether it is active.
- Schedule entries: when each task is placed, start and end times, and whether you completed or skipped it.
- Time blocks: the recurring periods you mark as available, such as work hours.
- Preferences: onboarding status, notification and reminder settings, buffer time, and morning preference.
All of it is kept in a local database in Loop’s private storage, which other apps can’t read. Uninstalling Loop, or clearing its data in Android Settings, deletes everything.
Permissions
- Notifications (
POST_NOTIFICATIONS): to remind you about upcoming tasks. Without it the app still works; you just won’t get reminders. - Start at boot (
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): to re-schedule your reminders after the phone restarts.
Loop doesn’t ask for internet access, contacts, camera, microphone, location or files.
Sharing
Loop shares no data with anyone, because it sends none.
Your rights
All your data is visible and editable in the app, and you can delete it by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling. Because nothing reaches us, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side.
Children
Loop collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
